Between Sky and Sea (9:37) Annotation: This piece of art was created between August 2002 and August 2003 in Saint-Petersburg, inspired by a mix of mind confusion and nature tranquility experienced on the northern coast of the Gulf of Finland. Thanks to everybody who listened and reviewed the first recordings encouraging me to keep working, and to those people who helped me to fight emptiness during these times: Agent, Andr, Angedoniya, Anthesteria, Arw, beautiful life, emily, Eugenya, Gran Groll, Messs, October, Tamit. Forever Alone lyrics * * * Forever Alone Why can't you give me just a piece of warmth? Do i ask for too much? Why don't you feel like me? Why nobody feels like me? Forever alone For how many years will this last? And why i can't resign these thoughts? Why can't i take it as it stands: I will forever be alone Forever alone * * * Confused Look at me with these strange eyes Touch something deep inside me Guess what do i hold inside You don't see anything, blinded Are you able to think with own head? Are you able to have own beliefs? So, while the other ones pray Let us just stand here and miss And i blame the whole world for this Twist my feelings all way around Force me to wear this black shroud Turn all my love into hate * * * You Disappear You stand by the seashore Turned your back to me The sky is full of clouds Leaving just a narrow gleam over the horizon Sky and sea merge together Into deep dark blue abyss You are gazing upon this view With hair blowing about by the breeze And while i'm approaching You disappear Leaving nothing But striking chill To remind me That you were here * * * Cold And whatever i remember i remember it cold My feelings were never warmer than a stone There is no devotion my heart could achieve My mind has no purpose feelings could give And wherever i go And whatever you told Cold - from the day i born Cold - every cell of my soul * * * Rain Whole Day Grey sky, mighty pines, sacred land Why my visions became dull and grey? Why fresh air seems stuffy to me? Why i can hardly breath? "Rain is the tears left inside the heart haven't found the way outside" It was raining all day long, turning the world into something liquid and muddy Nothing could withstand, flowing down in an endless stream So is my spirit, fluently sinking into a liquid grey bog Where everything drowns in morbid doze The rain washed away my tears Washed away my feelings Washed all me away It was raining whole day * * * Between Sky and Sea Waves leisurely run up to my feet Their measured lapping calms me No soul around isn't it pleasant? Now i need nothing but this vast expanse And this quiet lapping In everlasting motion The clouds stretch into long flakes Fantastically lightened by Invisible rays of sun They form an amazing world A world between sky and sea A world i always yearned for And now i'm finally rising above the earth And now i'm finally flying towards my dream And now i finally dissolve and become Serene essence soaring among The clouds, the clouds Soaring among |
